About Olivia

Hi, I’m Olivia.

I’m a traveler, storyteller, and retreat host who feels most at home in places where nature and culture are deeply intertwined. Over the years, I’ve spent much of my life living and traveling between places like Mexico, Costa Rica, Japan, Guatemala, India, and other parts of the world. These experiences shaped my love for slow travel and for immersing myself deeply in the places and cultures that inspire me.

Through my work, I share stories from the road, travel guides, wellness inspiration, and the lessons I’ve gathered from exploring the world with curiosity and intention.

My curiosity about wellness eventually led me to deepen my studies in yoga, Ayurveda, and women’s health. I’m a 200-hour certified yoga teacher and have trained in Ayurvedic and women’s wellness practices, which continue to influence how I approach nourishment, movement, and rest in my own life.

Before hosting retreats, I spent years working in the wellness and nourishment space, including in the world of fresh juices and holistic foods. That background still shapes much of what I share today — from recipes and nourishment practices to how I approach wellness and travel.

Alongside my writing and travel storytelling, I also host immersive retreats through Anila Collective, where I bring people together in beautiful places around the world for experiences rooted in nature, movement, nourishment, and meaningful connection.

My hope with everything I create — whether it’s a travel guide, a story, or a retreat — is to inspire people to slow down, explore more deeply, and reconnect with themselves and the world around them.

What I Believe

I believe the most meaningful travel experiences happen when we slow down and truly immerse ourselves in a place.

I believe nourishment goes beyond food — it includes movement, nature, creativity, and meaningful connection.

I believe the world has so much beauty to offer when we approach it with curiosity and openness.

And I believe that stepping outside of our routines can help us reconnect with what really matters.
